Email Whitelist Instructions
Email providers use spam filters that can occasionally misfile legitimate messages. If you’re expecting an email from support@artistpr.com (“Support | ArtistPR.com”) and don’t see it in your Inbox, check your Spam or Junk folder first — it may have been filtered by mistake.
Adding us to your trusted senders (“whitelisting”) ensures our messages reach your Inbox going forward. Select your email provider or client below for the current steps.
To make sure our emails always reach your Inbox:
- Open Gmail and click the Settings (gear) icon, then See all settings.
- Select the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab.
- Click Create a new filter.
- In the From field, enter
artistpr.com. - Click Create filter.
- Check the box for Never send it to Spam, then click Create filter to save.
If a message from support@artistpr.com has already landed in Spam, open your Spam folder, select the message, and click Not spam — this also helps Gmail learn to trust future messages from us.
- Click the Settings (gear) icon, then select Mail → Junk email.
- Under Safe senders and domains, select Add safe sender.
- Enter
support@artistpr.com(orartistpr.comto allow the whole domain). - Select OK, then Save.
If a message from us is sitting in Junk, open it and select Not junk — Outlook.com no longer treats “add to contacts” as a whitelist action on its own, so use the Safe senders list above for guaranteed delivery.
New Outlook for Windows uses the same Safe senders flow as Outlook.com:
- Click Settings → Mail → Junk email.
- Under Safe senders and domains, select Add safe sender.
- Enter
support@artistpr.com, select OK, then Save.
If you’re on classic (older) desktop Outlook, there’s a quicker shortcut:
- Right-click a message from support@artistpr.com in your Inbox.
- Point to Junk, then select Never Block Sender.
- Click OK on the confirmation.
Quick method: open a message from support@artistpr.com, hover over our name in the From field, and select Add to Contacts.
To guarantee delivery with a filter:
- Click the Settings (gear) icon, then More Settings.
- Select the Filters tab, then Add new filters.
- Name the filter (e.g. “ArtistPR”), set From to contains, and enter
artistpr.com. - Choose Inbox as the destination folder.
- Click Save.
If a message is in Spam, open it and click Not Spam on the toolbar.
- Open the Junk folder (in the Mail app, or at icloud.com/mail).
- Find the message from support@artistpr.com.
- Move it to your Inbox (drag it, or use the “Move to” / “Not Junk” option depending on your device).
Future messages from the same address will go straight to your Inbox. Adding support@artistpr.com to your Contacts also helps, since iCloud Mail treats known contacts as trusted senders.
- Open a message from support@artistpr.com.
- Click the star icon next to the sender’s name to add them to your address book (click it again if you want to choose a specific address book).
- If the message is marked as junk, right-click it and select Mark → As Not Junk (or press J).
You can also tell Thunderbird to trust anyone in a given address book: go to Junk Settings, and under “Do not automatically mark mail as junk if the sender is in,” select your address book.
These providers now run fairly standard modern webmail interfaces. The general steps are the same everywhere:
- Open the message from support@artistpr.com (check your Spam/Junk folder if you don’t see it in your Inbox).
- Look for an Add to Address Book / Add Contact option, usually next to the sender’s name — use it.
- If the message was in Spam/Junk, use the Not Spam / Move to Inbox option on that message.
If your provider offers a filter/rules feature, creating a rule that delivers mail from artistpr.com straight to your Inbox is the most reliable option.
Modern antivirus/security suites filter spam as part of broader email or web protection rather than a standalone toolbar. In general:
- Open your security software and look for Spam, Anti-Spam, or Email Protection settings.
- Find the Allowed, Safe, or Friends list (naming varies by product).
- Add
support@artistpr.com(or the domainartistpr.com) to that list.
If you can’t find this setting, your provider’s support site will have current instructions — search “[your product name] allow sender” or “[your product name] safe senders list”.
If your organization filters email through a Barracuda appliance:
- Log in to your Barracuda Email Security admin console.
- Go to Block/Accept → Sender Domain Block/Accept, and add
artistpr.com. - Optionally also add
support@artistpr.comunder Email Sender Block/Accept for an individual-address rule.
Add the following line to your user_prefs file (in your .spamassassin directory):
whitelist_from support@artistpr.com
Save the file — SpamAssassin will pick up the change automatically or on its next restart.
- Open your
@SaneLaterfolder. - If you see a message from support@artistpr.com, drag it into your Inbox.
SaneBox learns from this and will deliver future messages from us straight to your Inbox.
The same two actions work almost everywhere:
- Add
support@artistpr.comto your contacts/address book. - If a message from us lands in Spam/Junk, mark it “Not spam”/“Not junk” rather than deleting it.
If messages keep getting filtered after that, contact your email provider or IT department and ask them to whitelist support@artistpr.com or the domain artistpr.com.
