Golem Dance Cult is an Industrial Heavy Rock, Dance, and Electro Goth music project started by two friends Charles Why and Laur. The talented duo started their first band together when they were teenagers, before deciding to follow their own musical paths, until 2021, when they found themselves in lockdown.

It was during this strangest of times that the artists reunited for a new musical adventure under the moniker Golem Dance Cult. Coming out of a 10-year hiatus from music, Chronic Dream is making waves with the new style and form of music that is being produced. The artist started as a teenager co-founding and playing keyboards in a local LA Gothic band named Scarlet 1993 with passion and ambition for the future. He played at the Troubadour, Roxy, and Whisky A Go-Go, and opened for such acts as Eva O and Rozz Williams of Christian Death. These performances helped refine Dream’s musical giving immense foresight to this field.

The musician then went on to change his musical style and do other projects which included composing music for film students at Chapman University on a volunteer basis. From the late ’90s until 2010, David A Burgess had a new project named Chronic Dream. This electronic, instrumental and cinematic music project gives off a moody, and dark vibe that is meant for daydreams and illusion all of which cement the artist as a notable addition to the music industry.

Charles Richburg is the vocalist and lyricist of his goth band, Let There Be Darkness. An African American, he has been in the goth and industrial scene for the past twenty years. As a niche musician, darkness is a common theme in all his music, where darkness becomes a symbol of negativity and despair. One will also notice a great deal of religious symbolism in the artist’s work. For example, the concept of hell and eternal suffering permeates his music, giving the listener a stimulus to explore and question conventional ideas.

Richburg’s music is primarily influenced by industrial bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Suicide Commando, and Velvet Acid Christ. Alan King, of Alan King Project, is a musician, singer-songwriter, producer, and business man from Omaha Nebraska. Born in Tucson, Arizona, Alan King dived into the world of music in junior high school, playing guitar, bass, and the piano. After completing his music major at University of Omaha, Alan King joined the band Breakout, touring the country before putting together his own band, Castle in 1989.
