Claveria and Weller met just as disco was starting to take over the world. It was 1970 and the pair performed together for a handful of years and even started the band A Bright Tomorrow. Canceled Tour Dates Can’t Stop Terry Barber

Princeton, New Jersey – June 23, 2020 – Beyonce isn’t the only artist that can turn lemons into lemonade. Recording artist Terry Barber turns tragedy into cathartic song release, “When the World Falls Apart.”

When 20 of his tour dates in the United States and Canada were “rescheduled” with no date in sight, international recording, touring artist, and past member of the multiple Grammy-winning group, Chanticleer, Terry Barber, decided to focus on songwriting.

“It is a painful time for our industry, so rather than sitting around and getting depressed about rescheduled dates, I needed to be productive,” explains Terry.

Terry Barber was actually about 30 dates over his self-imposed tour quota of 50 dates this season, so he had hit his target when the COVID-19 wall came down on the industry; an industry that survives based on the gathering of large groups. Terry was almost finished with a new song about that crisis and ready to release it when the tragic killing of George Floyd occurred.

“I stopped in my tracks. Held my breath. The world was already struggling, and now this?!” Terry exclaimed.

Terry went back to the drawing board on the song’s video and decided to give 50% of the proceeds from the MP3 sales to the NAACP. The digital release is Friday, June 26th on all platforms worldwide.

“When the World Falls Apart” has had a record number of shares and views on Terry’s Facebook. He is thankful that the song resonates, and is already working on a follow-up that is “less cathartic and more uplifting.” He expects a limited tour to begin again in the fall and based on the safety of his audience, for things to really resume “as close to normal as possible” in early 2021.

Indie Rock Meets Country, Folk,& Gospel

Azmoos, Switzerland – May 18, 2020 – On May 31, 2020, Manuel K will release his sixth single. “The Way of Life.”

Manuel K on “The Way of Life,” “Along with rock music I also love country music very much. Therefore – for this new release – I was looking for a song with elements of country and folk as well. While I was browsing through my songbook, I remembered a song called ‘The Way of Life.’ I wrote the first draft years ago when I was 18-years-old. Back then, it was a simple folk-rock song that has never been released so far. This song was exactly what I wanted. I rearranged and completed the song in April 2020. I recorded vocals, backing vocals, rock organ and my guitar parts in my beloved home studio. And as I mentioned, I wanted more country in it – I call it the “Nashville sound.” For that reason, I worked with three of the best Nashville session players: Lonnie Wilson on drums and percussion, Mike Brignardello on bass, and Brent Mason on electric lead guitar. With two of them, I had already worked on my fourth single ‘Follow You’. The new single ‘The Way of Life’ was mixed by Joe Carrell and mastered by Adam Ayan. Both also absolute professionals.“

Manuel K is an independent rock singer, songwriter, guitarist, and keyboardist born and raised in the eastern part of Switzerland where the mountains are high, the valleys deep and the water clear. A place where the ambiance showcases God’s simplistic importance of life, family, and nature. Therefore it’s hardly surprising Manuel K’s music sounds pure, honest, handmade, and played mostly on real instruments; but even so modern and timeless.

Throughout his life, his favorite genres have been Rock in all it’s glory – with flavors of Blues, Country, and Folk.
