Chicago, Illinois – June 5, 2020 – Coming at you with poise and ease is Chicago’s own Honey Padre with his latest single “When Will I.” A smooth hip hop track featuring 7 Metrix and Jerriell Ryan, Honey Padre has hit out of the park with his current single.

If one took the easygoing ways of Common and married them with the flow of Andre 3000 the results would be Honey Padre’s “When Will I.” The way he commands the attention of listeners without being overt and over the top with hype beats, and all the bells and whistles some Top 40 songs utilize for show, Honey Padre comes with a natural ability to allow his rhymes to do all the talking. “When Will I” is just the latest from Honey Padre and follows the release of a handful of other hot tracks including “Baby Girl” and “Street Legal.” All of which are available not on all major music and streaming sites.

Honey Padre was born Charles Honeywood and raised in Chicago’s south side. His love of music came early when he was eight-years-old playing piano. That inspired him to become a poet and soon enough a songwriter. Since then he’s been featured on WGCI’s Music Mondays, on the Louder Than a Bomb Mixtape, and became a member of Art of Culture which is formally known as Kanye west’s Donda’s House in 2014.
