From CPS to chasing resiliency

Sacramento, California — Toxxiic has been making music since a very young age, staying resilient and consistent through it all. Having made it out of group homes and now living on his own, Toxxiic produces, mixes, and masters his music entirely by himself.

Toxxiic makes music for the broken, the lost, and anyone who feels alone in the world. He spends countless hours perfecting his craft, a drive shaped by his years moving from group home to group home and never quite having a place to call home. Without the money for a studio, he started out making beats and songs on his phone.

Asked what he’s focused on next, Toxxiic says he’s “working on my craft, changing up my style, not sounding like others,” adding, “I love my music, it keeps me alive and mentally well.”

Toxxiic now has a home studio set up, which he’s still building out. He stays focused on keeping his community motivated and energized through his beats, and the quality of his music continues to improve. With nearly 32 singles and five albums released, and more on the way, consistency is the hallmark of his work ethic.
