Band Growing In Size and Stature, Talents Seeking Success In Metal

Waldoboro, Maine, United States of America– December 5th, 2014 – Hailing from Maine, Forward Momentum Prophecy (FMP) is a death metal band from Maine currently breaking out into the national consciousness. The band had worked with Rottweiler records but they haven’t signed any record deal yet though the group is starting to get noticed and is now trailblazing.

Comprising of Adam Gilchrest and Michael Cormier the band has already made waves on the music scene, with Gilchrest winning the title of World’s Fastest Guitarist in 2011. Currently, they’re still on the hunt for a front man, with some serious contenders already in the running.

The band has diverse influences, ranging from Megadeth, Lamb of God and AC/DC through to Cannibal Corpse, Sgt. Slaughter and System of a Down.

The band has received airplay from many stations, including WJZF with DJ Kristie, Digital Revolution Radio, WJAA Indiana, and WFLM Mangled River. Although the band hasn’t made any TV appearances yet, they are not far behind.

“Our goals are simple,” explains Gilchrest. “We want to serve others with our musical talents. As professional musicians, of course we’re looking to grow, both personally and also professionally as musicians. The future’s a bright place, and we’re looking to take our place on the podium of rock with others!”
